Print exists in the space between commodity and fine art. Accessible and influential.
Often using the matrix of wood, my pieces vary from printed textiles, mixed media, posters, and zines. I borrow stylistically from early 20th century propaganda posters, and brings new problems into old contexts, showing history’s capability to stagnate and repeat itself especially in the context of minority identity.
